Perkins Philanthropic creates communications and experiences that overcome barriers to understanding and bring together like-minded people to do good in the world.
With 15+ years of diverse international experience, much of it based out of New York, I have worked with some of the country’s most respected and innovative organizations. My projects have helped raise more than $100,000,000 in gifts and pledges. My background includes building relationships with and writing for eight-figure institutional and individual donors; crafting philanthropic learning journeys to places like India, West Africa, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo; facilitating planning and strategy workshops for corporate and non-profit clients; and project-managing diverse teams in a range of contexts, with a focus on centering the voices of people who have historically been pushed to the margins.
I have written for and worked with groups such as:
American Civil Liberties Union
International Rescue Committee
Earthjustice
Deborah Berke Partners
Democracy Alliance
Fair Representation in Redistricting
Japan Society
National Domestic Workers Alliance
New York Civil Liberties Union
NoVo Foundation
VOICE
Center for Employment Opportunities
